Mikis Theodorakis - Erinnern für die Zukunft"
Am Samstag, 13.November 2021, gibt es in Athen verschiedene Veranstaltungen unter dem Motto "Mikis Theodorakis - Erinnern für die Zukunft"

Beginn: 12.00 Uhr Besuch der Ausstellung "Mikis Theodorakis - My Galaxy" im Konzerthaus Megaron. (Metrostation Megaron Musiki)

Danach gibt es um 13.15 Uhr eine Führung im EAT-ESA Gebäude, dem Museum der Opfer der Diktatur, Eleftheria Park, Vassilissis Sofias Avenue. Der Ort liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Konzerthaus Megaron. (5 Minuten zu Fuß).
Dort werden auch einige Lieder von Mikis Theodorakis vorgetragen, die an die Opfer und den demokratischen Widerstand während der Juntazeit erinnern und die in dieser Zeit durch einen Armeebefehl verboten waren.

Daran schließt sich an ein Treffen um 15.00 Uhr, Open air, Taverne Cave of Acropolis, 24 Thrasillou Street, Plaka (Metrostation Akropolis).
Dort werden auch Projekte, Ideen ausgetauscht und Lieder von Mikis Theodorakis gesungen nach seinem Motto:
"Die Musik kommt aus dem Volk und wird dort wirksam". Dort gibt es auch Essen und Trinken auf eigene Bestellung.

Zum Abschluss gibt es um 18.00 Uhr ein Gedenken vor seinem Haus, Epifanous 1, das zu einem Museum umgestaltet werden soll.
Veranstalter ist die Gesellschaft Kultur des Friedens, die von Mikis Theodorakis mit internationalen Persönlichkeiten
1988 in Deutschland/Tübingen gegründet wurde.
Bei den Besuchen im Museum sind die aktuellen Coronaregeln einzuhalten. Bitte Personalausweis mitbringen.

"Mikis Theodorakis- Remembering for the Future"

I would like to inform you about the upcoming events in Athens "Remembering for the Future" releated to #MikisTheodorakis.
Members of the Theodorakis Choir and the Society Culture of Peace have honoured Mikis Theodorakis at his tribute in Athens and his funeral in Chania/Galata with his songs.
New projects will be presented on how the cultural heritage of Theodorakis can be filled with life and how current challenges of our time can be addressed.

"Mikis Theodorakis- Remembering for the Future".
On Saturday, 13 November 2021 there will various events take place:
Start: 12.00h Visit to the exhibition "Mikis Theodorakis -My Galaxy" at the Music Hall Megaron. (Metro station Megaron)

Afterwards there will be a guided tour at 1.15h pm in the EAT-ESA building, the Museum of the Victims of the Dictatorship, Eleftheria Park, Vassilissis Sofias Avenue. The place is very close to the Megaron Music Hall. (5 minutes walk).
There will also be a performance of some songs by Mikis Theodorakis, commemorating the victims and the democratic resistance during the junta period, which were banned by an army order during that time.

This will be followed by a meeting at 3.00h pm for those interested in the life work of Mikis Theodorakis.
Open air, Taverna Cave of Acropolis, 24 Thrasillou Street, Plaka (Metro station Acropolis).
Projects, ideas are also exchanged there and songs by Mikis Theodorakis are sung according to his motto:
 "Music comes from the people and becomes effective there". There will also be food and drink to order.

Finally, there will be a commemoration at 6.00h pm in front of his house, Epifanous 1, which is to become a museum.
The organiser is the Society Culture of Peace, which was founded by Mikis Theodorakis and international personalities
in Germany (Tübingen) in 1988.

Attention: During visits to the museum, the current Corona pandemic rules must be observed. Please bring your identity card.
